When testing frequencies above 1kHz, we recommend lowering the volume first, as high frequencies may sound sharp or uncomfortable.

Test Notes

1. Microphone Test (Input Check)
This test verifies whether your microphone is correctly recognized by the system and whether it is receiving a valid audio input signal. If the level meter fluctuates clearly, the microphone is working normally. If the status shows Silent or the meter does not change, please check whether the correct input device is selected in your system settings.
A brief 2–4 second stutter when enabling monitoring is normal.
This test only reflects the system-level microphone input status and does not represent the in-app voice/chat volume settings in games, voice software, or other applications.

2. Microphone Volume & Gain Adjustment
This section helps confirm whether the microphone input level is within a reasonable range. Microphone volume refers to the system input level, while microphone gain amplifies the input signal additionally. When speaking normally, the level should change clearly and steadily, while avoiding staying at maximum for long periods or causing obvious distortion. Excessive gain may introduce noise, popping, or distortion.

3. Audio Output Test (Left / Right / Stereo)
This test verifies whether the headphone’s left and right channels and stereo output are functioning correctly. During the left-channel test, the sound should come only from the left side; during the right-channel test, the sound should come only from the right side. The stereo test helps confirm whether left/right positioning is correct.
This test depends on the output device selected in your system and your system output volume.

4. 7.1 Surround Test
This test is used to verify whether multi-channel spatial audio is working, including front, rear, left, right, center, and low-frequency channels. If your headset does not support 7.1 or the 7.1 mode is not enabled, you may only hear standard stereo.
For best results: 7.1 video test > click sound test.

5. Output Volume Adjustment
This control adjusts the system-level output volume, which is not the same as the volume inside a player, game, or application. We recommend setting a reasonable system output volume first, then fine-tuning volume inside your specific usage scenario.

6. Frequency Response Test
This test checks how your headset responds across different frequency ranges. Low frequencies reflect bass and impact, mid frequencies affect vocal clarity, and high frequencies reveal detail and resolution. Due to differences in personal hearing, device tuning, or system sound effects, perceived results may vary—this is normal.
